The country of Norway was such an incredible location to travel, and to capture footage. We visited the Aurlandfjord region, staying in Aurland, and doing numerous day trips. One of our favourite day trips was the visit to the incredible Aurlandsfjellet mountain road, a must if visiting the area. The Aurlandsfjellet tourist road will take you between 1.5-2 hours to drive, pending how many times you stop along the way, which will be a lot if you’re anything like us. The road links the fjord towns of Aurland and Laerdal. You will be treated to incredible views, and have experiences like walking on the snow, enjoying waterfall views, and sit in silence and awe at the views. Be prepared this road is only open between June and October so check beforehand.
This drone diaries gallery looks to showcase some of the amazing aerial shots from our road trip. Episode #34 builds on some incredible Norway drone captures, including Drone Diaries #33 – Woodnest, and Drone Diaries #32 – Stalheim. We hope this gallery inspires your interest in Norway. See a detailed Norway guides at the end of the gallery.
