Drone Diaries #20: Nusa Lembongan – Indonesia

Drone nusa lembongan island bali indonesia beach lago pontoon dream beach

Nusa Lembongan will always have a special place in our hearts. This calm, friendly and picturesque island was our base for 4 nights. We fell in love with the clear, warm water beaches, the lovely beach bars and cafes, the hospitable locals, and the overall ‘island living’ vibe of the island. This picturesque island also provided a great place to shoot some drone footage.

During our first day on Nusa Lembongan, we ventured to the Jungutbatu Beach. We were captured by the calm waters, lack of tourists, and beautiful white sand. However, rather than swimming on the main beach, we decided to venture down a little further away from the ‘hub’ of beach bars. We were so glad we did! We were treated to a stunning patch of white sand beach away from all beach bars with no one else around. We also could see many of the still functioning seaweed farms in action. See some top shots below:

Our lovely accommodation host, Helly, took us around adventuring on his scooter. On the opposite side of Jungutbatu is a picturesque little bay called Dream Beach. This beach was a lovely canvas for some drone footage. See below:

We were lucky enough to have the experience of relaxing on Lago Pontoon. This floating bar sits approximately 100 metres offshore, providing the perfect place to drink a few beverages, relax.. and take amazing drone shots. See a few of the top picks below:
