The town of São Vicente is located along the north-west coast of the island of Madeira, and is a gem that needs to be on your road trip itinerary. Sao Vicente is home to a cute ‘local feel town’, a valley of stunning visual splendor, and the jewel in the crown.. Capelinha de Nossa Senhora de Fátima. The tiny white Chapel of Our Lady of Fatima sits atop a hill, overlooking the town and valley below. It’s truly a spectacular sight, and one of the ‘hidden gems’ of Madeira.
