One of the parts about Byron we particularly enjoy is it’s thriving cafe scene. There’s numerous little roasteries and cafes serving up excellent coffees. After visiting on multiple occasions, see our guide below to come of the best coffee in Byron Bay!
The best coffee in Byron Bay?
Byron Bay has an excellent café and coffee scene! You know us, we tried most of the cafes in town over the course of recent trips. Most deliver excellent coffee, and while there are few that disappointed, we have chosen to leave them off the list. The recommendations below deliver great coffee and vibes.
Folk
This was our favourite café in Byron. Tucked away ~2kms out of the heart of town, Folk offers a great coffee, beautiful aesthetic, and tasty vegetarian food. If you’re a coffee lover, it’s a great spot to visit!
Barefoot Brew Room
Situated down a cute alleyway in the heart of Byron, Barefoot Brew Room delivers one of the best coffee’s in the town. Perfect for take-away or sitting on stools on the street, come for the coffee! A must for coffee lovers!
Bay Leaf Cafe
One of the best (and most popular) brunch spots in town! Bay Leaf Café has a great atmosphere and tasty brunch options. We also rated the coffee as some of the best in town. Be prepared to wait for a table, especially peak times.
Sparrow
Another alleyway café that provides excellent coffee! A local recommended this place and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Similar to Barefoot Brew Room, there’s not much space for sitting, but it’s an excellent take-away option.
Sunday Sustainable Bakery
The picturesque café/bakery located at the top of the town delivers good coffee, and is a great spot to perch and relax.
Espresso Head
Situated on the edge of the main part of town, Espresso Head delivers on its name, serving up a great cup of coffee! Another one to add to your Byron Bay cafe list!
