Travel isn’t all about the photo, but sometimes getting “that shot” is a big part of the enjoyment for many. In Lisbon there is an iconic ‘postcard photo’ of the yellow trams going up the steep hill. You’ve seen it on social media. You’ve seen it in calendars. You’ve probably seen it on a postcard. And.. you can see the shot we took below of this iconic street!
The iconic street in the Barrio Alto district of Lisbon is well known of “that shot” of the famous yellow trams. The street “R. da Bica de Duarte Belo” is home to 2 yellow funiculars (Bica – Lg. Carlhariz). Wander to this street, get your cameras ready, and snap a few shots of the iconic street! It will take you around 10 minutes to reach this from the heard of Lisbon, or around 5 minutes from most parts of the Barrio Alto district. This is a Lisbon ‘must see’!
