A wedding in Tuscany sounds like something from a romantic Hollywood movie, and after Ky witnessed one of his best friends get married, he can confidently say that it was pretty special. When Ky’s friend Emma and her husband Rich informed us of their desire to have a dream wedding in Tuscany, we were obviously both keen.. you know how much we love travel. While work commitments stopped Tess being able to attend, there was no way Ky would be missing his friend of 15 years wedding day. Cue a whirlwind 2 week road trip through Umbria, Tuscany and of course the wedding. See some road trip highlights below and links to the travel guides.

The photo highlights below detail some of the vibes from a wonderful wedding weekend at the gorgeous Villa Ravano in San Guiliano Terme.
Situated close to Lucca (15-25mins away) and within a short drive to Pisa, it formed the wonderful base for a few days of relaxation, celebration and of course the wedding! While the shots below don’t canvas the actual wedding day, we’ve included a few drone shots from Villa Ravano, along with a few of Ky’s snaps from the long weekend stay! We also visited the gorgeous Lucca for a day trip, Ky’s second time to this town! This is one of the more charming towns in Tuscany, and definitely worth adding to your itinerary.
