This Wanaka day trip is a must during autumn, where the bright colours of Albert Town create a truly spectacular canvas. The town itself is tiny, and only about 10-15 minutes out of Wanaka (see our Wanaka guide here). Walk along the Clutha River, visit the amazing Pembroke Patisserie (and get one of their pies), and enjoy the autumnal colours!
