Don’t walk, run to check out this gorgeous Umbrian town. Umbria is a region located in central Italy, slightly east of Tuscany and north of Rome. Home to rolling hills, hilltop towns, incredible food, friendly locals, and not that many tourists.. it’s a hidden gem. And one of the jewels in Umbria’s crown is undoubtably the medieval hilltop town of Trevi! This town feels like something out of a movie.
You will immediately notice it atop of the hill as you drive down into town, and the snaking road up the hill gives you glimpses of the impressively preserved town. Trevi itself is calm, and relatively quiet. Wander the streets, get a coffee in the main square, and take some gorgeous pictures (see below).
