The Belgium city of Brussels often gets a ‘bad wrap’ from people on blogs and social media. However, after visiting multiple times, including recently in 2024, we think it’s worthy of a place on your travel list. While not quite a ‘picturesque’ as nearby cities like Amsterdam, Bruges etc, it makes up for this with excellent cuisine, great coffee culture, good history, and one of the most impressive main squares you’ll ever see.
