A historic little town sits along the coast, nestled into the base of a rocky outcrop which rises above it. The orange roof tiles shine bright in the sun that is almost always shining, especially between May-September. The hum of Italian locals permeates the winding alleyways. These streets all lead down towards a gorgeous little harbour and beach. The sandy promenade stretches a few kilometers, lined with colourful umbrellas and Italian tourists and locals alike. Venturing up into the town you will find some of the best Italian food you’ve tasted.. yes, we aren’t joking. What is this place? This is Cefalu, a gem in Sicily that might just be our favourite place in Italy.

This gallery showcases some snaps from our visit to Cefalu, where we spend a week relaxing, exploring and enjoying the southern Italian charm. We link to our detailed Cefalu guide at the bottom of this gallery for those interested in planning a visit!
