It is fitting that as 2024 comes to a close, we round out our guides published with number 100! We’ve very proud of our efforts this year, including delivering some of our best, most informative guides so far! Our 2024 year has been one for the highlights reels! We are so grateful for the experiences and opportunities we have had this year, and attribute much of this to our approach over the last few years. In particular, we have had a mindset shift, prioritizing ‘enjoying life’ and ‘being in the moment’, which has culminated in us taking some incredible holidays and so many amazing memories. We are also so lucky to have incredible family and friends around us!
So this guide isn’t a ‘what to do’ location guide, it’s a highlight gallery from 2024, canvasing 21 of our favourite photos from a truly incredible year. We have literally 1000s of shots from the year that we have taken, and add to that some amazing wedding celebration photos! This isn’t in order of our favourites, and there was a lot to choose from, so this is just a sample from a wonderful 2024. Here’s to an exciting 2025!

Our visit to Aurlandfjord is filled with so many highlights, and this photo is special to us! As we drove along a side road, the view was incredible, and we had to stop and capture the moment!
Our wedding in 2024 produced so many special photos, but we love this little snap from our first look. The photos are from the talented Jess (Fern and Stone Photography).
Our stay in the luxury ‘Woodnest’ treehouse in Odda (Norway) was special. We have amazing photos and even better memories!
The hiking on Lofoten Islands was incredible, and the Ryten hike was our favourite. This photo shows the stunning views at the top of the hike.
While not the best ‘photograph’ in this gallery, this shot captures our summer visit to Stockholm. We embraced the ‘fika’ concept and this photo highlights just that!

Summer in Oslo is a vibe, and we loved our weekend visit to Norway’s capital!
The nature in Norway is spectacular, and this waterfall shot of Latefossen highlights just that! It’s one of our favourite shots and moments from our road trip around the Vestland region.
Our midnight sun picnic in Norway’s summer was something special, and this photo has a lot of great memories for us!
The views from Lofoten’s Reinebringen peak were spectacular. It was also made all the more impressive after we climbed 2000 straight stairs to reach the peak!
This shot from Zakopane was a lovely moment during Ky’s solo hiking trip, and captures the immense beauty of this Polish region.
The wildflowers lining the arctic Skagsanden beach on the Lofoten Islands was truly beautiful, and we had to capture it in this photo!
We could have selected 100s of photos from our stay in Cefalu, but this moment, where a random stranger offered to take a photo us playing cards at sunset, captured the simple joy of our stay!
